If you really liked the first one, and you don't mind watching a replica of it, you'll probably love it. Most the people I saw it with dug it like crazy. I just think it is unnecessary, the new director didn't try to develop a style of his own, he just mimicked everything about the first one. I'm just pissed that it was such a cheap attempt to rake in dollars.
I know, most movies are put out in hopes of profit, but they shouldn't be made exclusively for this reason.

Maybe I'll go check it out after all. I'll just jack it off the internet somewhere. And what the hell Jessy? What makes you think no one else thought that?

Um...maybe the fact that whenever I bring that up everyone around me says, "What the fuck? Of course it's to make money! It's a business! Your stupid!" or something to that effect.

Some people just don't recognize the art in good cinema. They prefer to watch the rehashed, formula driven action pictures put out once a month. Or the remakes, or the sad attempt at mainstream horror films. It's quite pathetic.

I agree with you man. Most real metal bands aren't in it for the money because there isn't a whole lot of money out there. Of course, some are starting to get a lot of popularity, namely Lamb of God, but they still are almost constantly on tour all year.
It's pretty sad what bands gain popularity. They give spruced up with their fake voices, fake songs, and fake bodies, and the public eats em up.
You ever heard of Good Charolette or Simple Plan or Yellowcard. Three of the worst bands I've ever heard, yet they are famous. Man, fuck those fucks.
