I just want some suggestions for what's currently playing, and what to go see.
And I'm moving my posts about movies in the theater to this thread...
Domino opens friday (Keira Knightley), I'm going Saturday, so I'll post my review then. I'm also interested in seeing Elizbethtown (opens friday).

Wallace and Grommit: (something about a were-rabbit): (5) Don't let it's G rating fool you. This movie's great. And if you're a bit of a perv, or older than 12, there's lots of stuff to pick up on that adds to the movie...

ha! Double poster!
Actually I want to see this flick. I've seen the first 3 wallace and grommit movies and loved them.
I've allways respected a movie that can be laugh out loud hillarious without making a sex or drug reference. I still like sex and drug humor, its just very easy to do. And walace and grommit is neither of those and its damn funny.

Don't care to see Domino. I'm not a fan of Tony Scott's style. Too fucking flashy for my liking.
Movies I want to see in the near future:
Jarhead - Looks badass, from Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition) Capote - Phillip Seymour Hoffman is a badass Good Luck, and Good Night - Clooney might pull this off Nine Lives - 9 10 minute steadicam shots Stay - psycholocial thriller from Marc Foster Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - Some kind of noir movie Paradise Now - suicide bombers, thought the trailer was good The War Within - Suicide bombers, too. The Matador - Pierce Brosnan, supposed to be pretty good. Saw II (I know, I know) - well....might as well? King Kong - Could be good. All The King's Men - Sean Penn is a bad mother fucker Match Point - Woody Allen's latest is supposed to be real good. The Weather Man

I wanna see King Kong, but not because I think it will be a good movie. I just like Jack Black. I'm almost too afraid to see the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I love Johnny Depp to much to maybe hate him for ruining it. In my humble opinion, classic movie hits should be left alone.
I didn't know they were making a Saw 2! I loved the first one, so if they screw it up, I'm going to cry.
I still need to go see the Corpse Bride. If only to support my love for Tim Burton.
Double posting Kay...that time the times were close! Bah...just forget it. You guys just go ahead and post all the porn and be offensive and post one letter to a post for all I care anymore. :-p

ok www.jessysgreatporn.comanyways, I'd like to say that I loved the original Charlie and the Cholate Factory (refered to hearafter as CCF). I was raised on that damn movie. However, if I was picking people to do a remake, that couldn't include Gene Wilder (that man IS Willy Wonka), i'd pick Depp and Burton. I hear its so different from the first movie (which is really based off a Ronald Daul book) that it can't really screw it up. Think of them as two different movies is what advice I've been given.

Dudes, I moved that post from the other thread... I said I was going to be doing it... WTF?
I want to see the new CCF. It's not a remake of the first. It's more like the book, and not a musical. I'm glad. If I had to hear "Cheer up Charlie" again, I think I might shoot myself

I saw Tim Burton's version, and thought it was alright. Burton tried to develop the plot to be more involved in Wonka's life and the reason why he is so reclusive and such. There is some pretty weird shit in the flick that made me raise an eyebrow, and there was some funny shit as well. On par with most Burton movies, it's visually interesting. I really didn't like Depp's performance much, but he probably made a note not to imitate Wilder at all.

I've just gotta say this one more time. Gene Wilder IS Willy Wonka. He's among my favorite actors.

Saw Domino. I like it. They way they told the story, the way they shot the film... And they did something with the exposure, and I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm loving it.
You should all go see this one, cuz it's frickin awesome. A little hard to find a theater that's got it though. It's not everywhere...

I'm sure it is typical Tony Scott fare. A whole lot of flair, usually taking priority over story.
The son of a bitch is stylish, I'll give him that.
Capote, Good Night and Good Luck, and Stay come out this weekend. Might catch some of these.
